LINCOLN CITY — Kimball International generously donated $200,000 in furniture and design to the Heritage Hills Middle School office and food service director office. Superintendent Dan Scherry thanked Kimball International at the regular board meeting Feb. 12.

ROCKPORT — Boys & Girls Club of Evansville set up a new afterschool program at Rockport Elementary School, holding a ribbon cutting in recognition Thursday, Feb. 1, at 3:30 p.m. with a school assembly for the students attending the program.

NORTH SPENCER — This August, Heritage Hills High School welcomes Principal Kate Kress and Assistant Principal Kevin Tempel. While their roles may be new this school year, both administrators have established backgrounds in education, mainly at North Spencer schools.

Caleb Hochgesang was awarded the Jasper Engines and Transmissions Scholarship. Caleb also received the Spencer Industries Scholarship.

Elliot Rahman was awarded the Indiana 4-H Scholarship. He was also awarded the Skills USA Scholarship and the Evansville Iron Street Road Automotive Scholarship.

Edna Lara Barco was awarded the St. Maria Goretti Scholarship and the David Turnham PTEO Scholarship. Edna also received the Harolyn Torain Multicultural Leadership Scholarship and the Haaf College of Liberal Arts scholarship from USI.

Alana was awarded a scholarship from Life Spring Foundation of Indiana. Alana also received the Mabel Mason Ryan Memorial Scholarship.

Emma Day was awarded the Kimball International Scholarship.

Brendan Chew was awarded the Thomas Lee Goldsberry Jr. Memorial Scholarship. Brendan also received the Mike Ryan Memorial Scholarship.

Dakota Boerste, Bryce Hazelip, Halle Jordan, Kylee Koenig, Madison Wagner, Jeraldi Barrientos, and Aleha Arias-Zavala received the David L. Rice Merit Scholarship from USI.
