Trent Sisley (pictured) was again voted as the county’s Most Valuable Player after averaging a team-best 24.2 points per game. He also led his team in rebounds (11.4), assists (4.3) and blocks (2.2) per game and he was the unanimous choice for MVP.

SPENCER COUNTY — Heritage Hills won a share of the Pocket Athletic Conference title in boys’ basketball and in the midst of that championship run, had impressive performances from a stellar junior to lift the program to an eighth-consecutive winning season and those moments are reflected in the annual Journal-Democrat All-Spencer County team.

Now in its 14th year, excluding the 2019-20 season when voting wasn’t conducted due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the All-County team was compiled by polling area coaches, athletic directors and media to determine who would make the best starting five if the rosters from Heritage Hills and South Spencer were combined plus a sixth man.
