  • Evans honored by St. Mary’s

    EVANSVILLE – As part of the celebration of National Nurses Week, May 6 through May 12, St. Mary’s Health System honored the nursing staff and announced the 2011 Nursing Excellence Award winners.

    This year’s celebration was particularly special as St. Mary’s was named a magnet designated facility by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Jan. 19. Developed by the ANCC, the Magnet Recognition Program honors health-care organizations that provide nursing excellence.

  • Mills completes training

    LAWTON, Okla. – Army Pfc. Christopher A. Mills has graduated from Multiple Launch Rocket System Crewmember Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill in Lawton.
    The course is designed to train crew members in launch operations of various missiles and ammunition in quick strikes during combat. Mills was trained to perform maintenance in various launchers and re-supply vehicles and reload ammunition on these type vehicles.
