Helen Payne, 97

INDIANAPOLIS – Helen Amelia Eble Payne, 97, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at American Village Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 21, 1914, in Red Brush to the late Charles and Anna Eble.
She was married to the late William Lyle Payne, a former farmer in Dale, and was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.
She is survived by two sons, Gene and Dan Payne, both of Indianapolis; one daughter, Carolyn Raibley of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one sister, Lillian Exline of Evansville.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Feb. 4, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dale.
Burial was in the church cemetery in Dale.
Fuller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
