PEZ Day at Santa’s Candy Castle
SANTA CLAUS – Santa’s Candy Castle, 15499 N. State Road 245 in Santa Claus, will host a PEZ day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The event is for those of all ages, featuring PEZ-themed games and activities including a gigantic PEZ display with hundreds of vintage PEZ products. The day will also include a PEZ coloring contest, a “guess how many PEZ” contest, multiple-choice PEZ trivia contests and more.
All contests are free to enter and offer PEZ prizes. The public is invited to attend.

REO – The South Spencer Booster Club will gather at 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the high-school lobby.
Republican Women to meet Monday
ROCKPORT – The Spencer County Republican Women will hold their first meeting of the year at 6 p.m. Monday at Republican Headquarters in Rockport.
This meeting will be a Valentine’s party with Ted Metzger as the special speaker. Metzger is involved with the Warrick County Tea Party.
Delta Kappa Gamma to meet Saturday
TELL CITY – Alpha Phi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Tell City Historical Society Museum. There will be a Founders Day program and pitch-in lunch.
Hostesses are Mary Phillips, Clara Kress and Pat Arterberry. Delta Kappa Gamma is an honorary society of women educators.
Alpha Phi Chapter serves Perry and Spencer counties.
Sweetheart dinner Saturday
ROCKPORT – Rockport Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star will hold a prime-rib sweetheart dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at Oakridge Park on Silverdale Road in Rockport.
The cost is $14 per person for sit-down or carry out. Tickets are available from the masonic lodge, an eastern star member or at the door.
Grandview VFD to host breakfast
GRANDVIEW – Grandview Volunteer Fire Department will host a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the fire department. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, eggs, milk, coffee and orange juice and will be all-you-can-eat. Cost is $7 for adults; children 3 years and younger will eat for free.
Toenail-care clinic today
ROCKPORT – Miller’s Merry Manor will host a free toenail-cutting clinic at 1 p.m. today at the Spencer County Council on Aging Senior Center at the Lifetime Learning Center on the corner of Seminary and Fifth streets in Rockport.
Other services will include glucose and blood-pressure screenings.
Warrick Tea Party to meet Tuesday
BOONVILLE – The Warrick Tea Party will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at American Legion Post 200 in Boonville, located at 1021 E. Main Street.
The group will continue its study of the Constitution as presented by Larry Arrn of Hillsdale College. There will be a short discussion period at the end of the session.
The meetings are open to the public, and members encourage everyone to attend to learn more about the Constitution.
Euchre tourney for Relay for Life
FULDA – The third annual Relay for Life Team Happy galloping euchre tourney will be Feb. 18. It will start at 6:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Parish Center in Fulda.

Chamber announces 2012 Legislative Luncheon
ROCKPORT – The Spencer County Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Meet your Legislature” luncheon Feb. 18.
This year’s luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Nick’s Restaurant at Santa’s Lodge in Santa Claus.
Guest legislatures will be Sen. Lindel Hume, Rep. Sue Ellspermann and Rep. Ron Bacon.

Euchre party in Midway Feb. 18
MIDWAY – Midway United Methodist Church will hold a euchre party at 6 p.m. Feb. 18 at Midway Park.

Sportsman to hold euchre tourney
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host a euchre tourney Feb. 25 at the club in Fulda.
Doors will open at 6 p.m., with play beginning at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be provided.
The public is welcome to attend.
4-H dinner, basket auction set for Feb. 25
SPENCER COUNTY – Spencer County 4-H is preparing for its fifth annual dinner and basket-item auction fundraiser.
The event is scheduled for Feb. 25 at the Spencer County Youth & Community Center. Dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and the auction begins at 6:45.
Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children and are available by calling the extension office at 649-6022. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
The adult meal includes pork chop, baked potato, green beans, bread, dessert and drink. Children’s meals will include chicken nuggets, green beans, apple sauce, dessert and drink.
