Boys sectional pairings set

IHSAA announces boys sectional pairings
Boys basketball teams around the state discovered who they would open their postseason against Sunday, as the IHSAA released its sectional draw.
Things begin difficultly for South Spencer, who will open the Class 2A sectional 48 at Southridge against a red hot Forest Park team at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
At weekend's end, the Rangers had won 11 of 12, including a 63-43 victory over the Rebels in Reo on Jan. 13.
If victorious, South Spencer will face Tell City in round two at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 2.
The draw was considerably more favorable for Heritage Hills, who open sectional play against a 1-17 Pike Central team whom they defeated 58-45 on Jan. 13.
The Patriots, who are traveling to Washington for the Class 3A sectional 31, will tipoff Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
With a win, Heritage Hills will advance to round two, where they will face Vincennes Lincoln at 7:30 the following Friday night.

Game four: Vincennes Lincoln vs game two winner, Friday, March 2, 6:30 p.m.
Championship game: Saturday, March 3, 6 p.m.
