Bolin chosen to play for Olympic program

SANTA CLAUS—Seth Bolin of Santa Claus has been named to the 2011 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program Indiana State Team for the 1998 Older Boys age group.

Bolin is among 18 of the top players in Indiana involved in the program. As part of the Indiana ODP State Team, he will attend ODP Regional Camp in Overland Park, Kan., this summer.

He is a central midfielder for Evansville Soccer Club’s ESC 98 Premier team, which plays in the Premier Division of the

Indiana State League. He also plays for Heritage Hills Middle School. He is the son of Duane and Karleen Bolin of Santa Claus and the grandson of Margaret and Warren Bolin of Tell City.

The U.S. Youth Soccer ODP was formed in 1977 to identify a pool of players in each age group from which a National Team would be selected for international competition.
